Mist Propagation Unit
Propagate cuttings fast and effectively using mist propagation

When we looked to buy a mist propagator 'off the shelf', the only units available were either very small (and expensive) or enormous commercial units for very large scale plant cutting propagation.

In the end we had to make our own and after quite a long process of trial and error we eventually managed to combine the right selection of commercial components together to meet the needs of a small holding or large domestic environment. Our mist propagating frame proved almost as popular as our plants and so we now sell it in kit form.
Misting frame for smaller scale mist propogation

Features
  • Designed to operate at normal mains water pressure.
  • Misting frame has a standard hose pipe connection.
  • The water pressure is balanced within the frame and a commercial grade misting nozzle is fitted on each of the 4 interlinked 1m stand pipes.
  • Will work stood on the ground or suspended from above.
  • Will work in greenhouse or outside (if sheltered from wind)
  • Mist propagate up to 16 standard 600x400 plant trays at once.
  • The misting frame can easily be automated using simple water timers or even a sophisticated electronic leaf 'mist and wean' unit.
  • Final assembly dimensions can be easily adapted for different coverage or location such as over a heated misting bench.
Dimensions
The fully assembled mist propagating frame measures approximately 1.4m wide x 1.4m deep x 1m high.
Assembly
The unit comes partially assembled and can be quickly completed on site. Everything you need is in the kit - no additional tools are required.
Spares
There is very little to go wrong, but if you do need any bits to replace or modify your mist propagator then we carry a large stock of all the components used.

Smaller Scale?
In response to the many requests we received, we have now introduced a fully assembled hose pipe mist attachment made from commercial grade fittings with a single high quality misting nozzle for smaller mist propagation requirements. At the recommended height of 1m the mist spray will cover around a 1.5 meter diameter circle which is great for a small mist propagation bench or just providing some "Wigan rain" for seedlings or plants during the day or whilst on holiday.
