'Citrus La Valette'
Deliciously
fragrant white flowers open from red-tinted buds throughout
the summer and are followed by yellow lemons up to 10cm long.
'La Valette' is a cross between a lemon and a lime, the fruit
is the same shape as a lemon but has better flavour. A compact,
large shrub which is best grown in a pot where is can be placed
in a frost-free place in winter.

' Espalier'
A
strong growing plant with heavenly scented white flowers throughout
the summer which are followed by juicy, aromatic lemons. It
is perfect for growing against a a south- or south-west facing
wall either in the ground or in a pot. However it is sensitive
to cold so will need protecting in winter, either by moving
it to a frost-free place or by covering the plant with horticultural
fleece.
