A magnificent large native tree and one of the most valuable
for timber. Widely accepted as the best
firewood to burn as fuel on an open fire and wood burners.
Ash is often coppiced for use as a sustainable bio fuel and
is relatively quick to establish; 15 years until the first cut
and then every 7 years thereafter. |

Stock: We strive to maintain
a large stock of 9cm container grown ash seedlings, all
grown from certified native seed in a high quality soil based
loam. Container grown ash plants can be planted out at any time
